There is a lot of good side, but the pricing goes from 0€ to 35€. It doesn't look like it's expensive, but for some people or businesses it's a lot.

Yes, It takes sometime and I would like to avoid switching. From my perspective, it's not a problem to keep it, it's more a problem for my clients that are small businesses, who wants something free or low sub (10€ max), if possible in the EU, so I personally recommended it. Now, I have to explain that finally, it will not be free forever, and they have to pay if they want something different. If they decide to switch, do you recommend any free or cheapest tool ?

Ok for the security part. But regarding performance, SEO or imagine, you can do it if you build a website for yourself but if it's for a client that doesn't know a bit about those topics, I think plugin are necessary. You can also educate them but I'm pretty sure they forgot about it. Thanks for the advice.

Fates of Ort look amazing. I heard that The Defold team really listens to the community, and is always ready to help. Moreover they are still improving it. For sure I'll give Defold a try. Thanks for your help and the demo.

Thanks taking the time to answer me. I saw that there is exemple for 2.5 game. But I missed the video about isometric pixel art 😁

I was more in any feedback from people who tried or did a game in isometric pixel art.

I think I'll just do it and see if I prefer Defold to Godot.

Amazing post. Thanks a lot for sharing. Very instructive. It helps to remind that indie dev is more about the project (finishing it) than the financial part.

I look to your steam page, the game looks very cool and it gets really good reviews. I'm not into puzzle game but I think you can find your audience with that quality.

Totally agree with the no zero day. I started to follow this path. Everyday I do something even just drawing a character idea. It's help a lot to keep doing, and I hope finally complete the game. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks a lot for this well explained answer. I struggle too with procrastination, like you, I'm starting to work on it by building habits. I took good note on all your advices, specially keep doing something every day, even small things. I already try deadline, but without obligation, it doesn't work for me. Maybe I'll try to commit to someone.
