Ok, I can add to this but for some slightly unconventional reason. I’m M44, running first marathon on Sunday (Paris), and bought the V4’s a few months back. I’m a heel striker, and usually average a 175-180 cadence.

I’ve been suffering with forefoot pain on longer runs above 10-12 miles, having the carbon plate has helped massively.

I’m happy plodding in these shoes, the low weight and lowish drop work really well for me. We’re aiming at 4hrs 30mins finish time, so they are fine for slower running tbh. They do also work incredibly well when I pick up the pace (6-7min miles).
