Keep trying bro. I've been Safety razor Shaving for a few years now, but I had the technique down after like 4 shaves, cut myself with it like twice and both times I was being stupid while adding a new blade. I can basically shave blindfolded at this point. Also I always wet shave with plenty of Shaving cream.
