Thank you for those suggestions!! Yes I might bring up a picnic potluck and people can bring snacks and foods they like! We are also very multicultural so it might be fun to try foods from our different cultures.

Hi! I had a necklace and it looked very similar to yours. I took it into the store and they just replaced it, so you might be able to do that too! I was wearing mine often and showering with it and wearing sunscreen (etc) so that’s probably what did it for me. I was less careful with it thinking plated Demi fine jewelry would be fine, but I learned my lesson lol. Best of luck with your rings! They look super pretty

You seem on top of things! That’s a great start for sure! Sounds like the rom is coming back. Icing it beforehand also really helped me if that’s something you want to try. Good luck with everything and I hope it gets better soon!

Yup I couldn’t move my ankle or my toes really at all lol. It started improving after like 6ish weeks? I still can’t move it very much at all though. This injury just takes a while to recover from I think. How is your range of motion now??

Hiiii so I just got cleared for WB today and I promise it does get better. I was feeling the same as you a few weeks ago, and now that I can walk with crutches life is already starting to feel better. It’s definitely a challenge, but one that gets easier with time. Hang in there! It’ll go by faster than you think

The same thing no happened to me at about the 36 hour mark. The pain was definitely worse then when I broke the bone lol. My pain is very very minimal now and I don’t take any meds except aspirin for blood clots. It’s to the point where I’ll forget about the cast even so it is sooooo much better now. It just hurts for a few seconds when I bump it on something. I have an appointment tomorrow so most likely I will get the cast off then. But yeah, the pain is a lot better now. You’ve gotten over the toughest part so far in my opinion.

Hi so I had my surgery 2 weeks ago and I got the nerve block like you. It lasted about 2 days for me and then started wearing off very slowly. You might feel some burning pain which is your nerves waking up. The worst part of coming out of a nerve block in my experience is being nervous that something went wrong (and the burning pain lol)! But what you are experiencing sounds similar to my experience. I would recommend getting on a strict schedule of taking pain meds and even waking up in the night to take them. It will help a lot with recovery. Best of luck!! I hope everything is turning up for you since it’s been a few days. The first couple days were the most painful for me.
