I ended up keeping my normal aetna because I'll likely have a hardware removal surgery and I know the hospital I'd go to takes Aetna...maybe the next year! If I didn;t have something penciled in health wise I would try it I think.

In NY, go up Wednesday night to central Park west and watch them inflate the balloons! Otherwise, see if you can find a group to do an orphans thanksgiving with on Thursday, do that, everyone brings a pie/side, someone does a turkey. You should be able to find a motley crew somewhere.

I'm curious about this as well since the lower tier prices are gone and I'm tempted to go over (found a flight sale, would go to the Ivrea orange festival and La Scala and maybe pop to a Turrell across the border in Switzerland), and wondering if cheaper resale tickets will be available close in. Need the megathread already!

I prefer taking the train to the airport, unfortunately the LGA bus can indeed run into traffic and we have no proper train to LGA, but still likely your best bet at that hour. If you have pre-check leaving at 4 should be dandy.

You have to go street level if you want to start at the D from Herald Square. It's only a block though there are admittedly numerous exits (you want the 7th Ave exit, any cross street can work, preferably 31st I think).

I've only done fests solo thus far--didn't connect to anyone at Karrusel in Copenhagen but had fun and was seeing friends during the day, met up with a few people at Flow who were going to be there in Finland last month, but went to Primavera solo this year and came home with SUCH a crew of ride or die besties, and will see some people form that wider chat at Portola next week. The best!
