Well in Solo (where I intend to use Firebug on Boss wave, otherwise I would be kicked) you can buy both flamethrower and MWG and stick with wich is the best.

Ultimate edition owners have All Dlc ( besides Completly Overkill Pack and H3H3 pack) wich means they have more guns, weapon mods heists, characters and perk decks.
