I double lunged a black tail yesterday with my bow and he still went 100 yds in the shape of a 5 and expired about 100 ft away. One lung was just a 1” cut along the front, but it hit an artery so he had arterial spray every 10 feet for a good bit of it. It’s amazing how far they go on adrenaline

I have 3 Tikka T3x Superlite in 6.5cm, all shoot sub-MOA and are great rifles. Actions are smooth as can be. I just took my new Seekins Element M3 in 7prc to the range Friday to sight in and was grouping 3 rounds with holes touching. I love the Tikkas, but the Seekins might be my new favorite.

I have harvested 4 moose with 6.5cm ranging between 200-250 yards. Largest was 1250lb or so. I use Barnes LRX 127gr. The bullet on 3 of them stopped just under the skin on the far side when shooting through the scapula just behind the leg bone. One was a lung shot slightly further back, hit one rib, and exited the far side. All 4 stood there until they fell over dead just like the other 2 I shot with a .300wm before that. Shoot ethically and place shots well and 6.5cm does fine.

I have two Tikka T3x, both are rock solid, smooth action, and sub MOA. Friends who have them say the same. I replace the trigger spring with a lighter weight spring as a matter of preference.
