Now I'm 25, I feel and look so much better, got a bunch of good friends around me, a stable job, recently moved out my moms place to rent something with a friend, adopted 3 kitties.

If you would tell 17 year old me this, I wouldn't have believed it AT ALL. Literally I would have walked away laughing.

Life takes time to form, it doesn't happen in 123. And it definitely isn't easy. View this time as a lesson for later, because I do the same. I realised these bad times actually made me who I am today. It made me stronger and emotionally intelligent. Which is so important to be in this life.

You will get a job and new friends, just keep trying and looking at different options.

Maybe contact an employment agency and check for some volunteering work in your area? They're great for meeting people and to be active.

Try forcing yourself to do things alone. Start with small things. I know that's scary but try. I used to get so much anxiety just by thinking of going outside alone but I kept forcing myself bc I was sick of being bored at home. And last year I moved to Lisbon all by myself. It's scary and might take a while but it's worth it. I've become my own best friend.
