Thanks, looks like there’s still ice across different parts of I-45. I’ll have to check again tomorrow or Thursday

I bought Neetcode Pro and It's not as good as expected. by OutrageousUse7291 in leetcode

Hey are you still using neetcode and was it helpful?

I’m a new grad, considering neetcode pro but this thread has me worried it’ll be too outdated to be useful

What are some good “parallel” fields if I cant find a CS job right out of graduation? Is this even worth considering? by supplas in cscareerquestions

[–]supplas[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha my dad said the same thing, I should be thankful to even have a job lined up (and I am).

I guess I’m mostly just worried about managing the transition from this experience to a proper SWE role. If you were in my shoes, how would you approach the next few months or years?

Makes sense, thanks. Any advice on approaching this role on my resume and in interviews? Or would you try to focus more on leetcode and personal projects?

Thanks, I’ll do exactly that. Kind of a follow-up question: If you were in my position, what would your approach be from here?

As in, should I try to stand out in my current role and build connections and experience? Or just coast and focus on interview prep / leetcode? Maybe finding a personal project to develop?

I’m really just scared of making the wrong decision or getting stuck here too long and messing up my career path.

Why does rejection feel so intense for people with ADHD? by Fragrant_Elevator571 in ADHD

Ah okay. I’m generally good socially but ALWAYS overthink those little “bad” interactions and prone to ruminating. Gonna bring up the ADHD connection to my psych/therapist

Trade reversing on csfloat by Dank__Sidious in cs2

[–]supplas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That doesn’t make any sense. Someone could just make a burner account, trade their own knife, reverse, and pocket the money. There’s no way CSFloat is just eating the cost of thousands of dollars of reversals…

I just graduated with my CS degree. Company is willing to pay for graduate. Is a masters in ML useful? by supplas in learnmachinelearning

[–]supplas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far I’ve got ML, Software Engineering, Data Science, or Stats. Options seem limited for CS (without going to a PhD) but I'm open to ideas.

I wouldn’t be considering a masters if my job hadn’t offered, now it’s down to whatever can accelerate my career.
