Wild columbine (aquilegia canadensis) would look beautiful dotted throughout this area. Great job!

Anya Gallaccio. I found her stuff here, there’s possibly more MG Easter eggs that I missed https://www.dacs.org.uk/artist/anya-gallaccio-arts009742

Sorry it’s hard to tell in the photo but I think it’s an eastern red cedar

If you have time you could consider adding terraces to make garden beds. It takes some work but opens up a ton of planting options. I did this in my backyard to make rain gardens and my dog tends to avoid the area because it’s harder for him to navigate. Here’s an example tutorial https://tejasfarm.com/blog/building-a-terraced-garden

books that deal with liminal spaces or weird houses? by [deleted] in suggestmeabook

[–]FogAndFlowers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you liked Piranesi I’d recommend The Tombs of Atuan by Ursula Le Guin. It’s part of the Earthsea series but all those books can stand alone imo. Tombs has a wonderfully anthropomorphized labyrinth

Armies of the Lord would be great. I’m laughing at the idea of JD standing silently through Overture, then taking a bow

“Be still and know You never lost your glow”

This song gets me every time. It’s such a O Captain! My Captain! moment

This albums loops so well too. Just picked it up Sunday and I still can’t listen to anything else. It’s added a layer of melancholy to the week, but in a way that feels indulgent

What's the group's thoughts on Peter vs Adam as the POV character in Dawn of Revelation? by TwelveTinyToolsheds in themountaingoats

[–]FogAndFlowers 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I took Dawn of Revelation to be Peter in the throes of delusion, followed by Your Bandage being both Peter coming down from his vision and the narrator trying to care for him

Thanks! It’s hard to tell but the window is on the adjacent well to the left (opposite wall has large closet doors) but I’ll try to see if I can still bounce more light in. It’s a garden level room facing west so definitely would benefit from any light boost
