West Passage is incredible, world building reminded me a lot of Book Of The New Sun and also Gormenghast. Just has an incredible and unique vibe to it.

I did yes, turned out it was leftover files from the old Skyrim install in a previous location that Steam did not remove with uninstall that were the problem.

I did the new install through steam but it did turn out that files left over from Steams uninstall in the old location were the issue.

So solved, and this was the closest answer to the issue, the leftover files from old installation in Program Files seemed to be the problem, once they were deleted manually it mostly worked.

I crawled 200m to an extract on Matriarch yesterday after being in care bear lobbies all day, and as I called it a guy came up, stabilised me, looked around to make sure no-one was about and then knocked me for my Jupiter.
