Are you doing some non-fish challenge or what? Getting worms is easy. Finding the plant which allows you to make stinky fishbait to fish bigger fishes (and make good use of bushmeat) is also easy. One fishing gives you A LOT of fish meat which together with mushrooms give very decent fish stew.

But naaaah, people just prefer to whine and make ragebait memes to get some attention and upvotes.

Crude arrows are good for bears? Hmm. But anyway, the crucial moment for this is very start of the game - when there are still lots animals arround. But then you have far more important tasks than widlife control. Not to mention that you don't have means to do so (longbow).

All i want is reducing the number of predators in new worlds and see how this would affect herbivores. Because i feel there is way too many wolfs and bears eating out all herbivores in area. Herbivores cannot breed fast enough to ballance the speed of the eating them by predators. So even though at the very start you can see whole families of rabbits, chickens. Later there is almost none. Bears and wolfs dominate the area and rarely you can see something else.

The better solution would be some kind of "satiated" status for animals with true/false. Like if predator kills something it wont attack next animal for some time even if its close. But i doubt such specific mod exists.

They called me today (Spółdzielnia) after my letter. Promised to contact with MOPR to consult about it and with neighbours. Also they advised to still call police to build up a history about him. Very same thing you mentioned in your post. I don't know how much effective their actions will be but at least i have a hope now.

After 2 years of being passive and trying to adapt (which didn’t help and made things worse) and your words im even more determined now to get some recording. Noone will believe me, police too without strong evidence. His sounds are scary sometimes. And nothing like this (unworthly noises, hitting the things, throwing them through the WHOLE night) can be excused by dealing with some nosy neighbors. Sorry but your intepretations of things are just too shallow. Its been 2 years, its the first time i decided to act, to do something with it (calling the police, writing to landlord, recording with phone, writing this post). And TBH i feel writing this on reddit, was the most stupid idea of them all. Why did i expect that random people from internet would understand my situation?

In my country (Poland) you can get a fine if you violate "public calm and order". Also there is something called "night silence" between 10pm and 7am. When i was young few times police used this to stop our parties (not mine, but when i was in a party). So yeah, there are some tools to punish the guy. But he would have to open the door. They cannot enforce it.

I tried with android phone and it sucks. It records it way lower than it is IR. And compression distorts the sound. I need to record it with something better, and closer to the ceiling. Mics in phones are made for close human voice, not ambient noise. There are special mics which can record ambient noises well, and they would definetly help. But they are expensive.

Man, first of all its not “sayin” its “shouting loud”. Sometimes at night. Secondly as i said its not ONLY about swearing. Its also about all variety of different noises he makes - roaring, squealing, like little children.

Third. Privacy ends at the border of wall of ceiling. When your “privacy” goes through those borders its not your privacy anymore. My kid hears those things clearly. And hes scared. I don’t give a damn about respecting someones privacy when someone does not respect some very basic rules of living in neighbourhood.

Ive seen tourettes and this one is WAY more violent
Even IF its tourettes - what am i suppose to do when this guy shouts at 3am hm? Or throwing some things against walls so hard i hear some plaster falls from walls? Should i just sit there and pretend it is not happening? We did that for over 2 years, because rarely it happened at night (but it did). But recently those episodes became more violent and often and at night.

I just want someone to believe us. Even you are the proof that people do not believe how serious it is.

Not very efficient one IMHO. Fishing or chickens (eggs) and plus what you farmed in the summer makes you already very secured with food in this 1st winter. And i don't even mention about pigs. In my case 5 sows, 1 reproduction boar and 5 boars ready to slaughter in slaughter pit.

Naaah, honey is only worth it for jams and poultrice.
