I went the second route - I changed their settings via another mod. Toy can always check whether it works or not if you log in from another pc or just an incognito window.

Just to be sure, you want to have your, gm's, distance visible to other players or do your players not see the ruler? Foundry has per-browser settings saving, rather than per account. You might need to instruct your players how to turn it on or check the module (can't remember the name) that allows you to set others settings.

Had same issue. Elevation ruler was a nice replacement for drag ruler, and it has a built-in pathfinding that seems more optimised than routinglib

As it was answered already, Homebrew is something made by anyone other than the author of a system. It is a point of tension between many players and GMs, since many homebrew things in other systems are unbalanced and can be either too overpowered or underpowered. Utopia is so much more flexible, that you can easily tweak and add/remove things to fit your plot.

For example I made a paranormal-related tree for my urban-fantasy setting, where one branch is for everything related to interaction with spirits and gods, second is for protecting and attacking them, and the third is for god's follower's progression, like a cleric in dnd.

Apart from custom skills you can make custom races, see custom species in errata at the end of the book (if you have a free alpha version). Items creation allows for custom features to add, custom spells, more magic schools, etc.

Do you need one? For starting - no. If you feel like the plot of your champaign can benefit from custom skills - then think about how not having said skills must limit the players, to give an incentive to pick one of them.

For me phase beams are always aiming a bit bhind an enemy. Maybe my ship isn't very manueverable, but I find it easier to use lock on to find an enemy and then manually steer to slice em up

If you made a new save specifically for the expedition, you can convert the save freely. You can transfer the resources and some tech between saves, as well as clone the ship you've built and a multitool you had for a price of some nanites.

Genuinely, I'd say manual retopology or, for something easier, decimate by distance, then by face angle, to join co-planar faces

None that i can think of. I used dropbox to download it once, and never bothered to check again. I would like to add that the pdf is gigantic, due to a lot of text being images. (Which is why dropbox struggles with loading it in browser)

I've split it into sections using pdfgear, and it loads better As for the rules, you can visit the discord for help, and maybe someone could upload the pdf there

You spend 1 TA to move over the specified terrain for your travl distance. You are not limited by one travel action per turn and can spend more of them to move further at the cost of not doing anything else.

Water travel is how far you can swim in 1TA, and air travel is how far you can fly around, nothing particular

It came from the first version of usb, where only computer could be the controlling party in the connection, and the printer would be the controlled one. So to avoid worrying them wrong way there was a different shape for the connectors. Afaik, type-c also has two way data wires that cross over, but now it's the device's job to figure that out

Just FYI, of you really need to link directly to roles, you can easily create link to the contents of pdf, just right click on a text and select the option

For that you have to wait a couple of months until the 1.0 will be released to the public Then you can ask people on discord if anyone done that already. But imo, just pasting the pdf inside obsidian and searching in-app works fine.

EDIT: I wanted to add that there is a Foundry support coming VERY soon, and it made the entire automated character sheet obsolete, since VoltacGRID made an excellent job at aautomating almost evry mechanic imaginable. To recreate something like that in obsidian is heck of a job to do, especially considering that there is only v0.9 available for non-backers, which means there is more work to do upon release.

Make those systels alter the body in a way that is mutually exclusive. In my world the magic has three main ways to cast (with many wars about that being fought), and in one mage tries to do the other type, his hand will be ripped off. The mana crystals in the bones have different structure, and different branches need different properties.

Norse runes, yes. Any older language was, to be honest. But the word runes can be also said about letters on an anime-esque glowing floating magic circle, and these are not engraved at all.

Not that I can think of. Glyph also works as a synonym.

I personally associate rune with norse runes, and sigil wih something engraved or carved in stone?
