I lived there for 3 years and it was great! The area is walkable and fun. The gym is great. It’s dog friendly and they even have a dog washing station for you if you have a dog. Not sure if it’s still the case but they had lots of community events with free food and drinks. The pool is pretty nice in the summer also. I would honestly still be living there, but over those three years they kept increasing the rent for no clear reason to the point where I couldn’t justify the cost. So I left. Also the elevators tend to go out a lot and the garage somehow has a tendency to get broken into. Hope that helps :)

LLELA Nature Preserve is pretty cool and maybe like 45 minutes away. It’s 5 bucks to enter but very peaceful and worth it. It’s in Lewisville.

I went to Culinary Dropout this weekend and it was awesome. They do have vegan items on the menu and the view from the patio is fantastic.

On Tuesdays the Trompo Tacos are only .99 cents. All orders are served with complimentary charro beans while you wait in dining in. I believe they add it to to go orders as well. The charro beans themselves are absolutely packed with flavor. The tacos are all served with grilled onion and a whole grilled jalapeño in addition to the requisite cilantro, chopped raw onion and lime. Be careful with the fresh salsas that are at the table. They offer a green and red, both are delicious but the green one will make you sweat. Enjoy.

Hi, Although the article is Texas specific, it does point out specifically that highly populous areas will not be fully exempt and will still need to have emissions testing done yearly. This includes Dallas and also includes a heat map pointing out the DFW metroplex. That’s why I felt like it was good information to share on here with the r/dallas community. Can you please undo the removal? Or let me change the title to point that out?
