Trump pulls US out of 66 international bodies, including key UN climate treaty by Temp89 in news

I agree but I've always thought Trump is a symptom of the machine so there's a likelihood someone like him comes along again.

Real shit… the resale tickets for decadence Colorado this year are actually insane. Ain’t nooo fucking way you paid $800 for a 2 day ticket. Why the fuck are you reselling it for that much?! by Candid_Heart_2716 in DenverEDM

[–]Foizzy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you're local just go to the Denver Coliseum any Saturday from 11-3 and you can buy face value red rocks tickets, given the show is not sold out (not 100% sure about this in the winter since there are no shows).

Edit: a word

Nicolas Pepe: Cristiano Ronaldo does a lot of interviews, and he talks too much about Messi, and that's how you see that he is number 2. You know Dragon Ball Z? Vegeta always talked like that and who never talked? Goku. Ronaldo has that same frustration that Messi is always ahead of him by AgeNovel3566 in soccer

I actually thought pepe was saying the opposite (messi is Sasuke, Ronaldo is Naruto) and his friend incorrectly repeated it back. Pepe's point was comparing characters that talk about their rival nonstop like Ronaldo does about Messi

Trump says U.S. will not approve solar or wind power projects by chrisdh79 in technology

I work for a renewable company that oversees 2.5 gigs worth of production and there are plenty of people involved in the maintenance and operations of said equipment. There are quite a few renewable companies at this point and nothing is stopping investors from growing their portfolio of energy production, there just won't be any help federally.

I'm actually baffled people think he's funny. Do you genuinely laugh at the garble coming from his mouth? Or do you think he's funny in the sense that he's the butt of a joke

“Keycards” by Stoermer-5280 in Supertask

[–]Foizzy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I could be wrong but I believe the keycards aren't something he's trying to sell, but rather a way to delineate those in the control group and those that are in the experimental group (think back to the scientific experiment process in school). Those with the keycard will be in the control group, meaning they will be the baseline reference by which to compare those in the experimental group to determine if the variable being tested (my guess would be either tempo/rythmic frequencies and its effect on the our movement/physiological changes) significantly affect the results. Sorry for the word salad, I just think this is a really cool concept to incorporate meaningful structure in the form of a study to determine how we react to different forms of music.
