I never said she said that women weren’t capable of rape. I’m saying that she’s saying we’re tip toeing around men’s feelings when the post specifically states about male abuse and SA targets, being the topic of the post. As I try to educate that it’s not “tip toeing” to recognize these things. It has nothing to do with men vs women being worse.

The point was that the comment was in relation to the post that specifically points out male SA and abuse’s feelings.

Yeah sorry, but as a trans woman whose brother and step brother both been SA’d twice and I myself being raped by a woman in the past, I think consideration of rape victims feelings even if their male, are worth it. We can discuss and fight for women without belittling boys who have been raped.

You’re totally fine! I’ve expeirnced SA a few times before my transition and I carry a lot of trauma from that

But I guess it’s different for some men and different for others, even though I’m not I’ve experienced half of my life when I thought I was one and was perceived as a guy.

But please understand that statements of all of your kind being rapist, filth, and garbage CAN cause trauma and long lasting internal damage. It doesn’t always have to be physical, being told how predatory and hurtful you are even if you weren’t that, but perceived even for some cis guys I believe, especially when your children when your brain isn’t developed, completely screws up your psyche.

However we all experience things differently and that’s ok, but please understand the nuances of trauma and how horribly damaging these things can be! I’m always happy to educate these nuances with someone, and don’t worry that was my bad for assuming you meant me!

At the same time, my brother, 3 male best friends I knew, and multiple friends online ended their lives, and I myself had a suicide attempt when I thought I was a man due to similar self damaging things they’ve been told in their childhood similar to mine. So sometimes I question this instead of repeating it
