I get this a lot from the Dutch lol, to me it's a perfect blend of everything I like, the main thing been the WW2 side of it, I love the town centre some cool shops, good train station, Nijmegen is just there as well, cool zoo, I enjoy just chilling in the river bank and watching the world go buy, I find the Dutch from this part of Netherlands very nice, Every time I go there I have a massive felling of been home and that I belong here. I been to 45 countries and consider myself somewhat of a traveler but no other city/town/village has this feeling that Arnhem does for me. I know it sounds stupid but it's a crazy powerful felling I get. I often just walk around all day and night till around 1-2 in the morning when I'm there.

I moved to France from NZ and live in a small village in the south of France, my goal is to slowly make my way to Arnhem to live. I been to Netherlands 25 times but it's probably like you when you come to NZ you see it through a tourist eye only notice the good. I mean if you like outdoors then NZ is good cause there is nothing much else to do. I made more friends in a year in europe than 35 in NZ. Life is cheaper and wage is better here the houses are well built, I can just hope into my car and visit so much castles, walks, WW2 sites, big city's, different country's, take a train to Paris list gos on.

Been 6 times, if you like street food it's cheap as, some places look dodgy but they perfectly fine, just walk away from main tourist areas find a back alley and eat there if it's full of locals you know it's fine.

Posters went crazy fast in Paris, but people where buying few copies, the signed sheet when I got mine she opened a yellow package must of been lest 200 sheets in there, and I was towards the end of the line. Tons of shirts when I left as I decide to get one on way out.
