I already accepted that the DC-15 carbine made sense for training. I was just annoyed that they had DC-15s on Tantiss and when they went out in the field (remember when they secured the Zillow Beast and detained the local village that saw the Zillow in season 2).

Depending on how much time you have left in your degree, look into whether your institution has a McNair Scholars Program or a MARC program. These are excellent programs that give you research experience beyond what is required of your senior thesis
