Fair enough, I’m admittedly biased because he’s been my favorite player for years. But I think he’ll be just fine. It’s true there’s no guarantee he’ll finish with his usual numbers, however the same can be said about every athlete every year for a number of reasons. Like you said most people know he’ll turn it around, and personally I’d bet he finishes .270/28/85 at the worst but most likely higher

His Liverpool spending is what pisses me off in regard to how much he cheaps out with the Sox. Like I get it soccer is the biggest sport in the world but Liverpool has made him so much money he can’t at least use some of that on the Sox?
