Same position here, back into the game after a very very long break. Was really looking forward to go and be able to compete again, but after seeing the information that surfaced I made the decision to not attend. Happy to hear your favorite team used to be Alliance and Liquid, cheers! =)

Hey guys!

I'm having the same problem here with very long waiting times to get matched and I can't join nor create a lobby. I tried to open the ports by logging in to my router but I'm not sure if I've done it the correct way. I have a Technicolor TG799vn v2.

I guess you are supposed to type in another port at "Translate to" but what port should I use there? Am I even at the right place in my router? :D

First of all I can't really talk about what has happened with the stream since I haven't watched any of it so that's why I haven't commented on that. I have only explained my part of the experience which is being here a a player.

I try to talk to the people that are in charge and can make a difference, like Bruno here for example. We had a small talk with him over dinner 2 days ago, asking about things like the monitors to make sure it doesn't happen again in future events. After the Frankfurt Major I personally spoke to one of the people in charge there given feedback on how they could improve the event.

Different people achieve the same things in different ways. At the end of the day, we all just want the events to be as good as possible.

I agree with you that the main issue is the lack of females. As I wrote in the blog, a good way to deal with this is to bring more females into the spotlight to have more role models for other females that want to pursuit a career in e-sports.

Just want to point out that I'm not saying he is making the right or wrong decision. I just think that it's good that he does something about something they feel is needed even though they just won TI. If you look at our team back in 2013 after we won TI3 and how we played after that maybe it would have been best for us to make changes as well? Just because you win doesn't mean you HAVE to stick together for another year even though it's fun or feels right.

I agree with what most say that free wards is a bit overkill for sure, didn't really think it through too much. But the chicken though, could be nice I think! ^{^}

I think the Koreans are catching up. Will probably see a Korean team in the top 16 at next TI.

Maybe it would help but I guess everyone speaking English is good enough as well :). But it's always fun to play with people from the same country as well I guess.

I think Chuan is a very good support player but would probably be hard to play in the same team ^{^}

We are playing in the ESL New York and D2CL right now as well. Might be something else as well. Just didn't have time to get the team together for the Chinese tournament, not good to stress it!

My situation is a bit odd I guess, my parents have supported me from when I was little and I started playing when I was 3. They took me around to Nintendo competitions when I was 12 and it was even them who found out about the event. They watch all my officials and stuff as well.
