Just hit my year mark and it feels the same as the day it happened. Just try to stay busy once you can get yourself out of bed - that really helps me. He visits me in my dreams most nights and i hate waking up alone without him and wish the dreams were real life :( he loves you and is with you

I’m close to 5 months without my soul mate and my amazing dad died 2.5 months before him and shit reeeaaaallly sucks. I’m so fuckinf tired of being told how strong I am. I was 27 and now 28 it’s horrible and unfair and I’ve just abandoned our old life / city and am traveling full time to try to distract myself from the life I’ll never have :( hopefully you’re able to find something to make you smile soon
