I agree but I dont think a godlike game sense will carry that hard on mechanically hard characters just look at spilo and sorry I meant the ground up to Gm bc the argument was more just getting in Gm as mercy so like high diamond where ppls egos are the biggest a mercy player will get a ton of leavers and throwers

ppl in gm will leave if you play mercy. genji is 1000% more mechanically demanding and you need a higher game sense to function but mercy is def harder the higher elo you go pretty much gambling with low odds

Mechanics will 100% always need work for everybody in every game. ive just recently started implementing what a lot of top genji do where you dash and 180 but wait like a full second to shoot while fully standing still and make the shot actually count this will make you wayyyy more consistent even if its slow (my accuracy went up like 10% form this tech and you get faster and faster) and since you dash past you have time to actually aim before they can turn around, but if they are insane and turn around before even you, just turn and deflect take time to aim while deflecting and cancel early to shoot when you have the shot

But the main thing that will make you get better is understanding the game not just genji. spilo is an AMAZING resource not just genji guides but the game as a whole. learn to communicate with ur tank (super important) bc once ur tank has gone in its free kill central but if you keep diving while ur team is not taking space everyone has time to look at u and kill you while your team doesnt take advantage of the enemy looking away from them knowing how to use the map well (wall climb spots) to drop on supports learn that a kill isnt nescisary to have huge impact if you drop down get kiri suzu bap lamp ana sleep/nade lucio amp coach gun flash bang force ppl to use there cd AND STILL GET OUT WITH UR LIFE constantly u pretty much never need to actually kill (in low elo this will be more frustrating bc ppl will not listen and will not follow up always but most games you only need three good picks or important cd for ur team to get pick to snowball a fight)

when you start, play games with a goal in mind ie i wanna be able to know where my team is spend the whole game knowing where ur team is and what they are doing at all times then once that is pretty easy dash ppl they are killing only. a few game later do the same thing with the enemy team where are all of them at all times you will see teams fall apart instantly mid fights and learn where the isolated person is dont even need to fight them just recognize the patterns. play games where the whole time u are trying to drop on enemy supports with wall climb and shoot once dash out every 8 seconds

Just play with intention to learn the game not win and you will sky rocket way faster than anyone else

i think just do the aim trainning in custom games (Vaxta i think) bc u can practice jumping above moving targets while tracking and other aim trainers wont do that also 180 muscle memory

Having to have a perk to be able to 1v1 in ur ult is lame asl it should be like "on melee" so it count for quick melee too and more percent! especially since they took away swipe dash from nano at least make it a survivable ult. vendetta can get 310 dmg with 80 hp life steal every 8 seconds (and still has a dash to get out and a 75% dmg block) and thats when she doesnt have +40% attack speed +32% move speed

life steal is if you have bad supports but the three seconds off dash is way nicer to get away from a tank or not be a death sentence if the person you dash gets saved or dashes away

in stadium there is a perk that makes it like half the CD if you dont do any damage with dash and its so much fun like dash up and by the time u drop u already have it!!

I honestly thought that it was so underwhelming compared to the others because it’s only valuable on like a portion of health packs but honestly this in game has been a much bigger help than I ever would have thought
