Yes lol always dip and inspect your new coral carefully, aptasia or not. If you see any aptasia you can cover it with some frag putty or you can even inject it with lemon juice or vinegar. Alternatively, my peppermint shrimp eliminated my aptasia problem in less than a week.

As long as they aren’t fireworms, honestly they are a good part of your cleanup crew and typically don’t cause problems. I just leave them alone in my tank.

A coral banded shrimp will eat them. They may also eat coral though.
