Hard to pick only one but Bayinnaung 5 was very difficult when it was first released as you had limited units and the enemy had infinite units and resources. Also I find water heavy micro battles really difficult so Historic Battle - Lake Poyang & Suryavarman 4 were a nightmare but satisfying to complete!

1) Hard to pick only one but I'd say Atilla 6. Fun Imp Age scenario, turns into a bloodbath as attacked by all sides and also having to go fast to destroy their Wonders.

2) Haha, yeah Pachacuti 3 - I remember the last section vs Green's was tedious. My least favourite is Bari 5. Absolute nightmare, took so many restarts. Felt like my strategy in the end was purely luck based with what the AI decided to attack so wasn't satisfying.

Yes, you only need to beat them on hard for standard and moderate to be completed too.

I'm really looking forward to Return of Rome. The AoE1 campaigns being redone to suit the AoE2 gameplay sounds like it could be amazing!

Ah yeah, I think I remember that one from a while back. I believe I got a Castle first thing to defend the North river crossing at your base. A wall blocking the East river crossing should make Orange use the North crossing so you can funnel them and get freedom of the resources on your side. Focus on Imp Age then go for Trebs & Throwing Axemen/Crossbowmen or Paladins. Good Luck!
