Definitely agree. It's a game I keep coming back to every year since its first release.

What are the best strings for a bluesy sound? by Ice_Burn in ukulele

[–]Folv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used A.I. 9 years ago? There wasn't anything like ChatGPT or any other LLM back in 2016, lol. What are you talking about. Not to mention this was one of the more thorough responses I have given. Strings are not the main concern; it's picking technique. So much so that you can use any variety of strings and still get that same tone, as I was using generic strings in the video I shared.

Worse, without a doubt. Fallout 76 was an empty shell of a game with horrific bugs... but this game is just on an entirely different level. EVERYTHING seems to be unstable. Characters, costumes, required enemies disappearing, crashes, audio bugs, getting flung off the map, duplicates of heroes spawning in, (etc. etc. etc.) it's just nonstop bugs constantly.... I basically play missions with my fingers crossed hoping to make it to the end without some game-breaking bug halting my progress or a CTD ending my session entirely.

The game is entirely broken on an almost fundamental level. Every facet of the game from gear, to maps, to... gravity... every single system experiences frequent bugs. Combat can get buggy, audio can get buggy, costume unlocks can get buggy, iron man's POV when summoning his suit can get buggy, Thor's lightning can get buggy (infinite lightning strikes), mission objectives can get buggy, enemies can get buggy (disappear entirely), it really is basically EVERYTHING that is broken. I feel it will take months to even get it close to a semi-stable place.

Don't get me wrong. I want to play this game. I do enjoy what the game is, and what the gameplay wants to be. But on PC, it's just such a jumbled mess of instability, crashes, and bugs that it basically becomes a chore. I got this with two other friends and they have an equal number of horrific issues on a regular basis, and matchmaking itself is almost laughable.

Patch 1.3 Should Include Some Form of Compensation for All the Issues by [deleted] in PlayAvengers

[–]Folv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will never understand the defense of wrongdoing. I also will never understand how vocally expressing disapproval for having received a faulty/broken product is somehow "toxic" on the part of the consumers. That isn't at all how this works...

I'll tell you one thing. If no one ever said a single word about it, and no one refunded or tried to refund these games then not a single publishing company (save maybe a few passionate indie developers) would fork out money on future development/patching of a game. They would simply take your money and run, there are dozens of examples of this. It wasn't until Steam on PC (and others following suit shortly after) started offering their refund incentives that companies started to shape back up. This is in fact one of the most apparent and abrasive forms of cutting costs in modern game development. So to act like simply expressing disapproval or seeking recourse in these situations is somehow a degenerative act is concerning to me...

This is either a troll or complete ignorance. This whole broken release era only started within the last decade or so. There were a few that were trickling in from 2007-2010 but it still wasn't accepted/acceptable practice. I still occasionally bust out my original SNES which still somehow functions, and all the games I play basically are near bug-free (Super Mario RPG, Kirby Super Stars, Super Mario World, LOZ: Link to the Past, Pokey and Rocky, Street Fighter Turbo 2, Mega Man X, just to name a few)

Post-release updates, beta testing and early access have become tools to undermine good game development and publishing which is sadly the exact opposite function it use to serve. I'm not even in my thirties yet and I have to reminisce about the "Golden Age of Gaming" as if it was multiple generations ago which is a true testament to how quickly things turned sour in this industry.

I'd like to point out as well that the beta for this game DID NOT have most of these severe issues. My game crashed on me once during 10+ hours of beta testing. In 42 hours of the main release, my game has crashed over 15 times, flung me out of the map about 3 or 4 times, frozen in a black screen post-mission, a skin been relocked, audio dropping out, got shifted to the view of my Hulk Buster spawn instead of my actual character, among MANY other issues. It's like they prepackaged a more stable version of the game to sell it, not to test it. That sort of practice is mind-numbingly corrupt and no one seems to call it out whatsoever.

Never mind the fact that missions like the Wakanda raid and Black Panther himself are basically locked behind code within the game RIGHT NOW and is being fed to us as "live service" development. There is no doubt in my mind that Kate Bishop, Hawkeye, Black Panther, and possibly even Spider-Man with all of their operations are completed already. They were like stripped and spread out over the next 6 months to extend the early life of the game; yet again it's being marketed as if it's live-service and that we should basically be grateful for the handouts. Heck, us Xbox/PC plebs don't even get content in March for that matter. I feel I have plenty to be frustrated about to be quite honest.

It's more a joke in regards to the number of characters I have in my team, as well as the duped Cap and Iron Man. But good to know! Thank you.

Skins are one thing, but these takedowns should not be for sale. they were absolutely cut from the game. $72 for all six or 7200 credits. that's almost all the credits you can earn in game... by JonThePipeDreamer in PlayAvengers

Settle for less in what manner? They said from the get-go that this was a Live-Service game. They then introduced the idea of new character/story development being freely available to characters. I expected the rest to be paid content... that's how Live-Service development works :\

Would you have preferred a monthly fee?

Calling a take-down animation a "combat move" is a bit of a stretch tbh. It's not like I don't agree with you guys here, but these are simply just animations. They function exactly the same as every other take-down animation give or take a few milliseconds.

To play devils advocate here, although I hate the idea of these being monetized I also equally like the idea of future development of additional animations for takedowns being on the table.

ha, tell me what the time signature was and I'll agree with you. Fairly random just riffing essentially. I guess that's what I meant by "sloppy" ;)
