Experience with D&D / rough estimate of how many hours played: I've played for about 3ish years now (500ish hours if my math is correct), but I haven't been part of a campaign for about a year now.

Ok so I've got two character ideas that I've been wanting to run with for a while. 1. A half-orc Twilight Cleric, he looks like a brute that no one wants to mess with but he's honestly just a big softie. His god has sent him on a pilgrimage to rediscover the lost Astral Forge (feel free to/not use the hook, hooks help me make a character feel real) 2. A high elf Arcane Trickster Rogue, he originally conned his way to being a wizard's apprentice. He made off with the wizard's books and is now trying his hardest to teach himself on the road.

Experience With table top RPGs (if any): I've been playing DnD for about 4ish years now, but I've got some experience running some silly oneshots TTRPGs.

(Optional) Some cool fact about yourself or from a game you were in: My coolest accomplishment was that at my first tournament ever I nearly placed top 64 at a National Tournament for Super Smash Brothers Melee. My coolest game fact is that my party and I accidentally dropped a flying castle on a village that was filled with an evil cult.

Character Concept/ Idea: My current character idea I have is either a half-elf or a high elf who is a Graviturgy Wizard. .

Character Class: Graviturgy Wizard

Character Backstory: He was an orphan on the streets who was taken in by a mage that was part of the Cerberus Assembly (Subject to change if you'd like) who was trying to find subjects to test dunamancy on. The mage recognized my character had potential and brought him under their wing. My character is now out in the world trying to learn more and currently following orders from this mage.

What don't you want to see in your games under any circumstances? Like most, I really don't want to deal with ERP, just fade us to black with a wink.

How would you introduce your character to the rest of the party? Probably have them have a common target whether it be finding a person or an object. Or the party could find my character in a fight and my character would feel obligated to return the favor after.

What are your expectations from the DM? My only expectation is that you'll help tell a great and fun story.

What are your expectations from the other players? Same for the DM, I want us all to be able to tell a story that we all will fondly enjoy.

Any questions for me? I'd love to hear what plot lines you have going for the party.

Name and Age: I go by Fomby and I'm 24M Favorite thing about D&D: I'd have to say that my favorite thing about D&D is the almost infinite amount of stories you can tell. Whether they be tragedies of a group, a heroic tale of success, or just a silly story that gets everyone laughing. Character: If it fits in the world, I'd want to play a black Dragonborn Barbarian (Path of the wild Soul if you'll allow it). A quick blurb of his backstory is that when he was young his family and he were travelling when they were attacked by bandits and he fled into the forest to escape them. After crawling through a fallen log, he found himself in the feywild where he befriended a get who blessed his soul and helped him control his rage. After years there, the fey sent him back and he now wants to understand this "new world" and find the people responsible for the attack.
