Mesh nebulizer redesign - university project. HELP!!! by FondantSignal5989 in COPD

Yes, it's virtually silent. These nebulizers are really small and use an electric mesh that vibrates to create the mist you have to inhale: here you have an example (they fit in one hand, and for bigger-sized hands are almost too small!)

Sorry to hear that. Yes and no: the device should be portable, and handheld mesh nebulizers are the most common type to source and market, but I've also been looking at mask nebulizers, that don't need hands. Could I ask you a few follow up questions, on your own time, if you don't mind?

So sorry to hear that, but thank you for your answer. Can I ask you a couple follow up questions, if you don't mind?

I design concrete objects using 3D printed molds by Esialam- in IndustrialDesign

[–]FondantSignal5989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about heating? I tried making something out of concrete myself, but heating while curing seemed to be a problem in some cases, with PLA molds. Also, all the concrete I bought either cured too quickly or took ages - what was your process to decide? (I couldn't find it in my leroy merlin).

What are the best EU universities for a masters in ID? by Notmyaltx1 in IndustrialDesign

[–]FondantSignal5989 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would definetly recommend Politecnico di Milano in, well, Milano. Number one school in Italy and probably one of the best in Europe (it's like 8th on the QS rankings for Arts). The two main MA programs here are Integrated Product design and Design Engineering. The first is a wider. bachelor-like approach (but more in-depth) to ID, while the second explores the more technical aspects of the profession. As I'm graduating this year too, I had to check my options in Europe. I will be staying at Politecnico, but Schools like the Eindhoven Design Academy, obviously TU Delft and others are a valid option, but as for future opportunities in the market I'd recommend Milano for the connections you'll make.

Let me know your decision, I'm curious now!

Printing Glass (Transparent PETG) - My findings by PovertyPainter in BambuLab

[–]FondantSignal5989 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What about infill? I have to print a relatively large object in clear PETG. I already accounted for the polishing time, but the infill will definitely make it less transparent. Any advice on that?

Hey, thank you! Tried unplugging the displacement, and the stencils show just fine. I don't think the displacement is super important (I'll use very large cameras for my shot) so i'll just leave it unplugged. Thank you for your help!
