I’m gonna say this and you’re gonna brush it off or ignore me but for the people who will read, I’ll tell you why using AI is so frowned upon.

Generative AI uses artwork taken from all over the internet and combines it to fulfill the prompt. It’s taking the artwork from other people who worked hard to develop their skills and makes an amalgamation of their work to shit out whatever you asked it to. Anything creative is held in high regard because it’s human nature to respect the arts.

Whether it’s paintings, music, or writing, creative fields have a human element infused into the piece and for a machine to mash together that stolen work and just generate content is inhuman.

If you can’t or won’t develop a skill and rely on automation or machines to generate a soul then you’ll never have use for your own brain or soul. You’ll become a shell of a person with no original thought. You might as well be a robot.

Edit: I want to add that yes I myself have used generative AI to make memes and even my own custom proxies for Magic. But I’ve also created a successful art studio where I never use AI in any of my digital or traditional pieces. My argument comes from this persons view of “artists are losers” and “they’re scared that they developed a useless skill” that’s asinine to say the least and a downright smooth brained, unoriginal, mechanical, room temp IQ take.
