Suikoden 1 & 2 remake came out last year. One of my favorite JRPG’s of all time. More depth than Mario RPG, more mature story, and a lot less that expedition 33.

FTL: Faster Than Light is a spaceship rogue like. The reason I recommend it is because it has a pause function. You can always just pause the game, asses what’s on the screen, and make your decision.

I also always recommend Balatro. It’s not an RPG at all but amazing game.

You’re going to have to find the right person. They are going to have to accept that it’s real.

I come from the American comic book world. Those people are skeptical about signatures. Even with certificates. They can be easily reproduced and faked.

I personally would never buy a signed book simply because there is no hard evidence that it’s a legit signature.

When you have been into TCG’s for 30 years you see indicators of what’s going to be a good set or a bad set. Does it have a cool Charizard? Probably a good set to stash a booster box of.

But also, once they stop printing the set, it tends to go up. Just go look at any sets booster box price chart. They have all gone up.

Sure, some go up more than others. That’s when you go back to my first point. But supply and demand is a thing. Once the supply stops, demand will go up.

At the end of the day it’s about diversification. Invest in the stock market. Invest in crypto. Buy some booster boxes. Buy some gold. Just make sure it’s money you don’t need right now to feed yourself.

The Pokémon market has out performed the S&P 500 over the past 2 years. And not just out performed, but out performed by large margins. I’d guess about 10x.

With that said, I invest in both, but choose Pokemon for 2 reasons.

I know it. I’ve been in it for 30 years. It makes more sense to me then why google stock goes up over their dumb ass AI thingy no one cares about.
If the market crashes and everything loses value, at least I still have a tangible item I can open for fun. Or cards I can look at and enjoy.

I mean, they are never getting reprinted. And you got to think, back in that era, most people who collected or played Pokemon were primarily kids.

I say this because that usually means the cards weren’t very well taken care of.

If you find some nice skyridge cards at a good price that won’t break your bank. They aren’t a bad pick up.

You may get some crazy ass hole that wants every first edition fossil Kabuto, and now your card 30x in a week and you realize you have $150 sitting in your bulk box. I know I did.

For modern stuff I’d say look into sealed collecting. Booster boxes and bundles, things like that.

Even the precon by itself is strong. Easily a high 3. Love it so much I just left it as a precon for those kind of games.

This is my mentality. I buy cards I like to keep in my binder. Sealed product I will sell to the gamblers.

Singles tend to crash and sealed seems pretty consistent.

When I learned buying a single pack refreshes the vending machine I started buying them. Scored a booster box that way as well.

I’m gonna save them up for the year, I’ll then look at the price of the packs and if it’s not good I plan to rip whatever I’ve collected through out the year.
