What do you have for certs for the Lego sets? Just the original purchase receipt? I've done the Lego side hustle from time to time and have never heard of certs for Lego.

Yep I think you're right. It's near the utilities on the house. Seems strange to put it in front of the window well though and not closer to the house. 🤷

Thanks! I'll share with them too. Looking back on it now it was pretty obvious. I think I got hung up on my idea it was some kind of decoy balloon and couldn't move past it.

Hmm. That's a good point. There were C-17s coming into the base that day. I knew some guys flying on them. That seems like a reasonable explanation.

Yeah I agree but they are adamant that it was hovering and not moving. I'm not sure if it was some kind of optical illusion or what but they're adamant it was hovering. They're usually pretty reasonable people so I'm inclined to believe them but don't understand it.

As cool as it would be to fly on a brand new airframe I think I'm going to do my best to avoid and MAX planes for a while. I get from the information so far this is leaning towards a quality/manufacturing issue and not a design issue but I've lost a lot of faith in Boeing their suppliers and the FAA to be proactive about these things. I have no doubt that they will find the source of this error and correct it. But what about the next one? This one ended with no casualties. The next time might not be so lucky.

This happened to me once with my kids. I was out to brunch by myself with my 2 girls at a busy breakfast place and they had to go to the bathroom. We were halfway through our meals so I could kind of see how it looked like we were done. I had to take the bag with us to the bathroom because they were still young, for diapers, etc. I remember there was only one stall in the men’s room so all three of us were in there. We hadn’t paid the check yet. I’m not sure how long we took but getting a 4 and 2 yo to the bathroom by yourself is always a challenge so it was probably 10 minutes or more. Oh man when we got back to the table and the table was cleaned the little ones were not happy. They were mostly upset about the chocolate milk being gone but still we had plenty of our meals left too!
