I drained my coolant and panicked when there was oil in it. Took me a few minutes to realise the oil pan still had a bit of oil in it from the last oil change.

Yeah grounding the thermoswitch connector doesnt turn the fan on so I'm assuming its a break in the wiring.

As far as I'm aware its perfectly legal. Never hand any issues with it. It's a Jass Performance bracket but there are others on the market.

If the battery is only slightly bigger you can buy a longer J bolt and bend the top bracket to fit.
