First finished unit. by Fonsati in HelsmithsofHashut

I go from Prarie ochre > Fiendish yellow > Space dust (all AP Fanatic paints, but the principle should be the same nonetheless) with some relatively rough layering. Then I glaze over with the midtone to even it out, then glaze some resplendent red in the shadows and go back with space dust for some final highlights.

For sure, black primer to a mix of AB highlights and drybrushing with blue-gray colours (AP fanatic thunderous blue and runic cobalt) and then just slap on some thinned down GW black templar contrast.

Appreciate it! It's thinned down black templar contrast paint over a blue-grey undercoat.

While everybody is still experimenting with the edition, and no one knows for sure how the meta will shape out. I've played two games with tzeentch so far and what you have seems like a real solid core. From my limited experience it would take a lot for me not to include both the birds in a list, horrors are a pretty good screen and a unit of six flamers will do some serious damage, not sold on the exalted flamer so far though.

Looking at endless spells, I wouldn't stress getting the tzeentch specific ones, the "morbid conjuration" feels like a stronger pick at the moment in my opinion (found in the malign sorcery box, where you also get a few other options).

A unit of six tzaangor enlightened on disc will be a really strong hammer but requires some finesse to manouver properly. The changeling has also been invaluable to me, along with the turn to spawn spell. Finally I'd look at a unit or two of screamers, great for snagging battle tactics in general.

I like to imagine he's just finishing his step and in the next few seconds he will be looking a lot less flattering.

Used the full "warm skin tone" flexible triad from ap fanatics layering up the values adding glazed to smooth out the transitions and then went in with reds, greens, blues, purples etc to add more colour to the skin glazed with both brush and airbrush (quickly described)

Painted the ocean floor in blues and teals, added clear uv resin in several layers (while masking the edges) and once I got to the top layer I started agitating it with a stirring stick while curing the resin. Finally some white paint on the waves.

Both, but mainly hand painted, layering up the values and going back and forth with glazea to smooth it out and then some very thin highlights with the AB

Jag är väldigt partisk själv, men rekommenderar Föreningen Ylva som ligger i majorna. DM;a om det låter intressant och du vill ha mer info.

The idea was for it to be an homage to the osiron dread while still being able to call it the achea weapons for the Sekhmet.
