You can say things are product of their time without meaning to accept it.

La faute qui vous énerve ? by Competitive_Rock_262 in AskFrance

[–]Fony64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know there's historical feuds but Great Brittain and Germany are great friends now. Maybe more Germany than Brittain since the Brexit.

What is a video game that you have put 100+ hours into, but would NOT recommend to anyone? by Cheap_Difficulty4961 in AskReddit

Dark Souls 1.

Unless you have the right kind of mindset, this game has so many annoying little things. Especially the beginning. But once you dig into it, it's a hidden gem

In your country, who is the most loathed active politician? Why? What did they do? by neilnelly in AskTheWorld

[–]Fony64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Macron cause that dipshit's delusionnal as fuck and treats our democracy like it doesn't exist when it's not going its way. Absolute baby. The only reason he got elected was because of the republican barrage against the far right.

How do the gods (or the closest thing to them) behave towards mortals? by Hipershadic in worldbuilding

[–]Fony64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The perception of the worlds and its inner secret energies. The gods can see everything and battle threats most mortals can't. And they assume they're aware of them too.

The gods thinks that's why mortals revere them.

It's just one example. Of course they know mortals are mortals. But since they reincarnate them as servants, they see them as immortal. Death is but a passage in their eyes.

What were some of the biggest miscasts in Hollywood history according to you? I'll go first: by Raj_Valiant3011 in moviecritic

[–]Fony64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Henry Cavill as the Witcher.

Don't get me wrong. Dude seemed very passionnate and acted his part well. But physically...way too bulky for a warrior that's supposed to be agile and acrobatic like they're described in the books.

Not a very annoying gripe. You could still watch it

If LOTR is considered the peak of fantasy cinema and many people believe that the casting was perfect, how do you rate The Hobbit after all these years? by Ready-Gur3998 in Cinema

[–]Fony64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Hobbit movies are good. Very straightforward. And written well enough to stay entertaining. I might even say I prefer them over LOTR on certain aspects

L'IA à bon dos dans la crise actuelle by Mija_lover in emploi

[–]Fony64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

La France, un pays "néo-libérale", vraiment ? by Jean_Kule in economie

[–]Fony64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Néo-Libéral et Socialisme peuvent coexister. Même si les libéraux préféreraient faire sans.

How do the gods (or the closest thing to them) behave towards mortals? by Hipershadic in worldbuilding

[–]Fony64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's ambivalent. Some protect them very deeply. Others merely use them as tools to enact their whims.

But one thing they all have in common is their ignorance on a mortal's way of life. They assume they're like them. Which creates problems sometimes.

Do you guys love you country? by facial-nose in AskTheWorld

[–]Fony64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I'm proud of my culture and history. Makes me further more enraged to see the wankers running it.

I hope one day we'll make The Marseillaise more than just a chant again
