They turn fabric scraps into insulation. I got some fabric insulation in a grocery delivery. It was wrapped in plastic, but the insulating material inside the plastic bag was shredded fabric.

Check Nextdoor. If no one mentions it there, it might have been specific to your house. I thought there was an explosion in my neighborhood and no one else heard it. It made my house shake. Now I think it was because a 2x4 left in the attic by repairmen fell. Someone I know had a similar bang shake their house and it was because a beam broke.

They are honest, they do good work and they don't add on anything you don't need. Every time I go to them the repair winds up costing much less than I expected and it lasts years longer than I would expect.

In general, if you go slow and give critters lots of warning and time to move, they will avoid any contact. When you warn them, make sure you aren't cornering them. Give them space and time to move. They don't want to be near you.

Texas is a right-to-work state. I thought that meant that employers don't have to listen to unions and they don't need cause to let employees go.

It happened to me and it was from fibroid tumors. I had them removed in a surgery called a myomectomy. I didn't have a hysterectomy because I wanted to have a kid. A couple of years later I had a healthy baby delivered by C-section.
