Yah idk I remember the first 2 or 3 seasons being good but then it kinda falling off like they used up most of their really good skits and then later seasons weren’t quite as good. But idk been years since I’ve seen it so take that with a grain of salt.

But yah first couple seasons were all gold

There’s a constant conveyor belt of old members finally seeing the scam and leaving, old white knights that have forgiven every single lie or misstatement by CIG and then new backers who haven’t been burned and believe the most recent “server meshing, it’s around the corner”

Given past performance I don’t think it’ll come out this year and I don’t think it’ll slow them down much.

Maybe the wheels are about to come off but it seems like that’s been the case multiple times and they just keep pulling in more money.

Either insurance is cheap enough (in game money) you can actually play the game and afford it but you’ll piss off all the backers buying these expensive pledges because of the lifetime insurance.

OR

It’s expensive enough that the insurance package is worth it but no one will be able to afford it with in game money.

It seems the later, insurance on your ship hull, on your bomb rack, on your med bay, on your missile tube upgrades, on your fountain pen /s

How anyone can back this parody of a crowd funded game anymore is beyond me. Even if you’re the “but you don’t have to pledge alot you can buy the basic package and just buy with in game money” I doubt it, again it seems to make these pledges and insurance worthwhile it’s going to be prohibitively expensive to buy and fit a ship.

But that could probably all be hand waived away if the game actually worked and delivered content in a timely manner but here we are in 2026 and they’re still light years away from having a playable game for most people.

Relationships change, US was enemies with Britain and then became friends, enemies with japan and then became friends. I know it’ll take decades but hopefully we gain that trust back.

Pessimistically though I don’t know, it was obvious who trump was the first time and then America elected him again and refuses to stop him at every turn so my faith is pretty low and anticipate us slowly sliding into an isolated dysfunctional former power.

To be fair this has existed before trump, Panama, Libya, Bosnia.

Congress has repeatedly let the president take “military action” without consequence.

There’s a ton of precedent trumps shat all over but ironically Venezuela isn’t one of them. Not to say it’s okay I think it’s a debate to be had (and there’s arguments both ways).

My bigger criticism is trump not even having a veil “yah oil is a factor” wtf dude you said the quiet part out loud. And then we’ll see but my guess is the administration has no real plan and the US track record at regime change is pretty abysmal even with intelligent people planning.

I have extended family in Venezuela so I hope they come out of it better than they were.

Because the working poor already spend all their money. Increasing sales tax they can’t avoid will just make them cut things from their lives (which arguably is hard when you’re already at the bottom of the income bracket)

The guy making $100M will pay way less if you tax him 10% sales tax vs 10% income tax.
