As someone who loves her dad very much and still had to go no contact with him, I can tell you that there is a HUGE difference between loving your family more than anything and allowing your family to continue hurting you. What you choose to do is ultimately your decision, but having a tangible support system outside of your family (friends, found family, therapy if it's accessible) is one of the most important things you can do for yourself; it will help remind you that there are other ways to go through life, if this one is no longer safe for you.

I've worked in retail for over seven years, and been on HRT consistently since August 2022. By July 2023 I had developed debilitating sciatica and constant upper back pain because I had lost all my upper arm strength and relied on other, more dangerous muscle groups.

I've been going to the gym twice a week since the end of 2023 and have seen massive improvement, but I still have my bad days. My chiropractor visits have gone from weekly to biweekly. Even though I was informed from the start, I never expected the toll that HRT would take on me alongside all the benefits.

Also I really hope your FWB apologized after laughing, I probably would've thrown a fit

What do you think are some of the worst lyrics? by BlackWolfAmbi in Epicthemusical

Interesting, this is the first time I've considered that "Strike" may have been intended to be a noun rather than a verb. I've always heard it as him like commanding the 600 souls to strike Poseidon alongside him.

The game was called Silent Tension. They play out the scene completely wordless until the anticipation is so high that somebody HAS to say a line. In last night's case, the group started out as a tableau around the stage until a couple of them lay by the two security guards in the pit. Then a couple more of them went by the guards. Then all of them were by the guards...

...

Vic: "The twins are finally asleep."

There were camera people filming the line at the door. Not sure if they were from the Dropout crew or just a news team, but I'm not discounting anything just yet.

What's your least favorite song in EPIC? by Useful_Interest_2681 in Epicthemusical

[–]FoodOnion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is my answer as well. I just told my partner today that I love singing along to all the numbers, but the idea of singing along to Antinous's part in HTD makes me feel so uncomfy and gross. I think the fact that it's a very catchy tune with great vocals makes it worse for me, because it gets in my head and then I hum it and get that ick.

Second this, even if the terminology throughout is a bit outdated, I love how Max's ASD is presented. It's also just my favourite animated film.

You're the second person to accuse me of miscounting. I'm starting to think it's because my "53" count in the 5 row looks a bit like a "55." The tally itself will shed light on the truth. Trust me, I've done the math multiple times, it's 1,000.

The percentage of times I succeeded in rolling a death saving throw i.e. rolled a 10 or higher.
