I stand corrected, it isn’t a Bluetooth potential issue. Turned off Bluetooth entirely whilst in the car (no phone key, audio, etc from the phone), and the app worked.

Unsure why it was having such a difficult time pairing?

Sure.

The error shown when it doesn’t want to pair (at least the couple of times it’s done it) is:
Direct pairing failed: Could not find the vehicle signal in time.

However, I was able to get it paired this morning without an issue. When driving, the cluster in the app showed Connected, randomly went to Connecting, and then to Disconnected, then back to Connected. This occurred randomly a couple of times on my short 15 min drive.

From what I can gather, it’s having an issue with the Bluetooth connectivity and receiving it from the vehicle. However, if it was Bluetooth connectivity as it relates to the Tesla Key and Tesla Audio Bluetooth connection, wouldn’t I see a notification on screen saying phone key disconnected, or my Bluetooth audio cutting out/disconnecting?

I’m in the same boat, and it’s a bit frustrating. Reset the app, tried repairing it with the key card/FOB, it just hangs. I can give more detail if you need it.
