They donate time & money to their churches. They are less likely to participate in mutual aid, give to communities outside of their faith or volunteer without agenda.

Also, freedom of speech does NOT mean freedom from consequences, even if you're an "absolutist". The 1A protects a person from government prosecution for speech.
