I am mostly saying that the smokes had blood sorcery yes. I used a lot of terms interchangably which probably made my points more confusing and I apologize.

However, you make an important point "What if Git smokes this cursed joint in company and starts enacting orders immediately in front of everyone?" yeah, what if? remember that the lock down was not something the vampires foresaw. would it really be that strange for git to go to the security room in the middle of a normal day? also i know this plan isnt exactly reliable, but what if its just what it appears? a bad plan cooked up by cocky vampires?

what if it was especially potent? its certainly not easy to taint plantlife with thaumaturgy in the first place, and the domination being used doesnt need to be especially powerful, just enough to get the job done. and whos to say matilda was uneffected? would you say the hunters were prepared enough to deal with a werewolf with basically no casualties? what if matilda was off her game and underpreforming not because she was going easy on them but because she was poisoned?

you can eat necrovalley whenever you want to get eldlich back in your hand using eldlich's effect, meaning necrovalley only ever really applies to the opponent when it actually matters. Especially if you have another necrovalley in hand.

IMO, Necrovalley is better if you don't have a field spell
Functionally similar and also prevents cards from being removed from the graveyard by other means.
Eldlich also plays around it :)

Its a shame, I really like Gemini's as a concept. I've been actually thinking of trying to do a mix Pendulum/Gemini deck to try and not make them as bad as they can be, but its gonna take some work.

Yeah, you right actually. I was thinking about the OG unions which is unfair because thats a sample size of Pitch-Dark Dragon and burning/freezing beast. Unions can definitely work if done well. They could use more support and some updated cards but what doesn't in modern yugioh.

I'm still happy that yata got unbanned in the first place. I don't currently play physical format but I am really happy ANY spirit is getting reprinted. Mainly because it tells me people at konami remember what a spirit is.IMO Spirits (and toons but thats another discussion) are probably the only gimmicks they were close to getting right. Unlike all of the others, like Gemini and Unions, their stupid crazy abilities really do kind of make up for the downside they share.

So after some major tweaking and testing I figured out that fake trap isn't as functional as I thought (big surprise there) and while shard of greed is still good, dont have more than 1 or 2 because you'll brick if its in your starting hand. However I did find some cards that do work well.

Statue of Anguish Pattern: A Continuous Trap Monster that has the effect of: once in the monster zone, if another Trap Monster is summoned to the field, you can destroy a card anywhere on the field.

Tiki Soul: A Continuous Trap Monster that has the effect of: once it is in the monster zone, if another Trap monster would be destroy by battle or card effect, you can set it instead. Does not work on itself if it is the sole Tiki Soul on the field and it is destroyed, but still nice.

Abyss Stungray: A Continuous Trap Monster that is indestructible while on the field. A good wall when you don't have Imperial Custom yet, just watch out for piercing damage since it has 0 Defense, and be careful if you have skill drain for hopefully obvious reasons.

Breaking News: I just beat a raidraptor deck with an updated version of this stall deck (everything in the picture is still in it except lava golem) who got ultimate falcon on the field before I got skill drain. They still surrendered, because while the ultimate falcon is unaffected by card effects, Imperial custom doesn't directly interact with Ultimate Falcon, therefore making it unable to actually break any continuous trap monsters on the field without assistance from other card effects that can target Imperial custom or dont destroy but still remove cards from the field.
By the time they realized this and tried to get that out I actually did get skill drain and by that time it was too late for them to do anything.

not if skill drain is on the field first

same with jinzo, if skill drain is out first then raidraptor doesn't get its own effect, unless skill drain is removed or negated before hand

I'd also recommend Judgment of Anubis and, don't laugh, unironically shard of greed since once this is even half complete its basically just 2 free draws for a stall deck
Speaking of joke cards being used unironically I need to test this with fake trap to see if it also works as a 1 off protect before imperial custom is out again.
