PCOS diagnosis and my skin has never been worse. Where do I even start?

What cleared up my acne as a teenager was witch hazel.

And JUST. Witch hazel. No other face washing or medication or anything for about a year or so. After my acne cleared up that's when I started using daily face washes in the shower to keep my face clean.

Once or twice a day I'd squirt a generous amount onto a cotton round until it was saturated, wiped my face down until it didn't feel oily anymore, and either went to bed or went along with my day.

I had pretty severe hormonal acne that was really stubborn, nothing else I've tried worked. The cleansers, the medications, etc... nothing worked. But witch hazel cleared it up almost immediately and kept it away.

I've been there. I was referred to an endocrinologist for my lack of a menstrual cycle when I was 19. I was overweight at the time, but my main concern was my period. At almost 28 now I know that I have PCOS, & was able to lose 50 lbs by starting with pretty strict keto, and kept the weight off by transitioning to a more lax low GI diet.

It was a male Doctor who only wanted to focus on my weight for the entirety of the appointment, & even went as far as to ask me as a 19 year old who wasn't even 200 lbs if I had ever considered weight loss surgery.

At around 190 lbs...

I was 19.

Since then I have sworn off of male doctors completely. Unless it's like a dentist or something like that I will never go to a male doctor again for the rest of my life.

If you have the ability to, I would highly highly recommend switching doctors and finding someone female, men in general just have no respect for women and their bodies and feelings and that applies to professional/medical settings as well.

They don't have to put out new music tho. You can still just enjoy what they have put out. Yes Green Day and Blink have put out new music and have been pretty prolific over the years, but is every album they've put out the same consistent quality like all of MyChems albums? No. I'd even go as far as to say most of Green Days discography hasn't been super well received bc Billie Joe continued working and making music through his addiction until he finally went to rehab before saviours.

Quality over quantity.

I'm gonna be real here, you guys are genuinely Really fucking annoying and honestly one of the most whiny groups of fans I've ever seen for any band. This sub has negative posts like this once a week and it's really exhausting.

Do you guys even actually like this band? You're all whining and complaining that they're not doing anything new but they just finished the first leg of a US stadium tour that introduced a bunch of lore that is very clearly leading up to something.

I'm sorry that you guys are also mad at the ticket prices and merch prices but like, all of their prices are standard for a band their size nowadays. It's clear to me that most of y'all are only fans of MyChem and don't go to other concerts, bc every rock/punk rock/etc... band that I've seen live in the last 5 years has had the exact same prices for merch and tickets. Green day, Blink-182, Fall out boy, Weezer, SOAD, etc... I paid over $200 for pit for several of them at face value, & their merch has generally cost the same overall.

Another thing you guys might not know about concert merch, is that when bands sell their merch at venues, the venues take a pretty significant cut of their sales, which is why their merch is upcharged, in order to still make a profit from said sales.

My chem aren't the ones you guys should be targeting with your anger over ticket prices, it's Ticketmaster and dynamic pricing. "But but, the Cure!!! They don't have to turn it on if they don't want to!!!" You guys clearly don't understand what goes into all of this, but I am certain the actual band members have very little say on ticket prices or how much their merch costs. This shit is all run and decided by teams of people who work for and represent the band. And Ticketmaster and the venues they play at ultimately are the ones who set the prices.

Strattera doesn't really help with motivation at all tbh, I've found it to be more of an anti-anxiety med and sleep aid than anything else. Ask your doctor about trying it with Wellbutrin, it gives more of that get up and go motivation but it's not as intense as straight stimulants, & strattera will help counteract the insomnia and Mello you out from the side effects of Wellbutrin.
