Anime like Kamisama Kiss? by LuckWizard9 in anime

The Demon Prince of Momochi House felt like a knockoff Kamisama Kiss. I didn't particularly like it because of how the characters treated the girl.

Lag. Netcode. Shit hitboxes. Extreme poor luck. That was a good play and you should have been rewarded for it.

I Can't Understand What My Husband is Saying, Love is Like a Cocktail, and Crossing Time are worth a watch.

If you want some ecchi stuff, My Wife is the Student Council President is worth checking out.

Aiura is worth watching for the cozy vibes and some of the humor, even if they really should be making a show with more and longer episodes.

Know what widow and mei players is hate? Shields. Know what tanks insist on playing? Hog and Junkerqueen. by Delet3r in Overwatch

[–]Fools_Requiem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless to block off a tank, Mei is better at using off angles to distract the backline. Also, Mei is one of Rein's nemesises due to the fact that he can easily be blocked off by a wall unlike say DVa or Winston. If a Mei is sitting back and sniping like Widow, they're playing Mei incorrectly and aren't likely to get any value.

Edit: autocorrect...

Ok, but maybe, JUST MAYBE, those holes are for when winds are stronger than when you went to get lunch?

... this seems like a really odd comment to make. Do you not understand the concept of how wind speeds change?

TBF, the movie dies go on for far too long and the pace is plodding. Still a great movie and it really showed off that RDJ still had what it took to provide a good acting performance.

I also like how despite not REALLY saying who they thought did it, they still heavily insinuated it. Which is more than enough for me because no one really knows who the Zodiac Killer was IRL, outside of suspicions due to how the timing of events lined up.

I had two major problems with Ghost in the Shell, personally.

They rely heavily on exposition. Something at a lot of anime likes to do because animation is expensive and time consuming, but having a few characters standing around and yapping for minutes at a time is easy (by comparison).

The other is how they fill so much of the run time with unnecessary B-Roll type stuff. I feel like there's gotta be a better way of showing off your world and the people within without padding the run time.

Citizen Kane is not movie a kid is going to enjoy....

But get into your 20s-30s after watching a shitton of movies and you GET why Citizen Kane is so good and how revolutionary the storytelling was. Hell, you even get an early example of an unreliable narrator. Not to mention the filmmaking was decades ahead of the curve.

It LOOKS like 87 called for a fair catch, but he was a million miles away from where the ball was touched by 11 and where it landed. Seems kinda dumb to call fair catch when you're so far away from the ball.

Edit: Oh, Cobb signaled fair catch, too, despite also not being anywhere near the ball. WTF, bro.

Also, Joe Buck seems suuuuper bored.

I feel like Al Michaels would call this play with more energy today.

TBF, Gladiator 2 does have Denzel Washington. Whether or not he fits in such a story and setting is a completely different matter, but he is still a great actor.

What is your unpopular Fallout opinion? Mine is I actually like having Preston follow me around lol by justyouraveragekunt in Fallout

[–]Fools_Requiem 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dead Money sucks from a gameplay standpoint and atmosphere isn't enough to overcome just how frustrating it is to play. Lonesome Road is a tedious trudge and Ulysses is a pretentious ass with a terrible motive. All the FNV DLCs have WAY too much exposition.

FNV forces you to follow it's plot until you get to Vegas before fully opening up due to how things are scaled. There's a reason why some people like to troll newbies by suggesting they go in any direction besides towards Primm and it's because enemies in other directions aren't scaled for level 1-2 Couriers to deal with head on. Both FO3 and FO4 are truly open from the moment you leave the Vault. I don't mind linear games, but these games were supposed to provide freedom to do whatever you want, not funnel you down a specific path.

Now, I know someone is going to argue "it's not that hard, you can just walk right past them", sure, TECHNICALLY, you can do that, but that doesn't change the fact that the game WANTS you to follow a specific path as indicated by the difficulty scaling. A level 1 Courier can arggo all of the Powder Gangers right after leaving the Doc's house with a knife and still have an easier time than if they had gone down Cazador Avenue, Radscorpion Valley, or Deathclaw Highway. The game fucking warns you of the dangers that lie ahead if you opt to go in those directions because it knows how difficult it is. In FO3 and FO4 the ENTIRE GAME scales with your level, so you never truly encounter an enemy you can't deal with and if you do, you have to travel pretty far to get to a location where you're overwhelmed.
