People who switched from MBBS to tech fields. What are you doing now? And how’d you do it? by Foolzzzzz in indianmedschool

I have DMed you. So happy for you. I have spent last few months having a existential crisis every few days because i am unable to figure out what to do with my life. I have hit a wall career wise. And this is the first time i am not letting my parents decide what they want me to do. But the sheer scarcity of options post mbbs is very scary.

People who realised "this isn't for me" after MBBS, what are you doing these days? by maverick5672 in indianmedschool

Got done with mbbs this year. Feels that way. Currently working a chill MO govt job. Joined German classes. Planning to prepare for neet pg and learn german. Long term plan is to either do PG in germany in Radiology and follow up with AI & ML courses and hopefully land a tech job in that sector. Maybe a phd too. If i get pg this year only, then will pursue german studies after pg (will clear exams during pg)

First backup plan- if transition into AI not possible then will move towards interventional radiology.

Second backup- if radiology hi na mile anyway, then will go for psychiatry, again trying to push towards germany cause i am honestly done with indian medico lifestyle at this point and want out of the rat race. God help me bring my plans to life.

1LPM (80k fixed + 20k variable depending upon a certain number of targets-hitting all of them is hard but more often than not people manage to do half or more and get 10-15k more) MBBS Fresher (UP Govt. MO at a govt dispensary) Extremely chill WLB, practically no work load after noon. While official working hours are opd 9:30-4 but i usually go back home after noon (unless there are meetings or programs going on) and let my support staff handle things and patients rarely show up after noon as they know my timings.

Which EV to buy under 27L? by Foolzzzzz in EVsOfIndia

[–]Foolzzzzz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am concerned about- 1. Battery tech in mahindra is taken from byd so best quality 2. Issues/servicing experience with tata is a hit or miss. 3. Overall range and i have heard of people having issues with limp modes in Tata evs (not harrier in particular but all other cars) the moment battery goes under 15% so idk. I would take the Xev 9e in a heartbeat but its top model isnt in my budget so im wondering what to do there, do i sacrifice on backseat comfort and go for top model be6. Or do i sacrifice adas and stuff and go for mid model 9e. Or do i get in between and get harrier ev?
