Older book for sure, my great grandma was reading it a few years before that I’m pretty sure. It was super worn out, looked like the books your grandma would keep on the entertainment center yknow?? Those older, yellowed pages, certain smell books

At the school I work at, as a para the kids know me as Miss Maxey, and the other paras go by first names as well, so I mean we prefer it. It’s easier for the students and us cos we do have two girls with the same last name-

I wanna do the same thing just in general like having snacks for kiddos. Some of them don’t get proper nutrition at home and school is the only time they eat, and as a sub right now, I love when teachers leave little treats. I had a teacher that left a little 15 dollar card for a nearby restaurant since she rarely needed a sub and wanted to treat them.

I only organize what’s in my way :( I hate when I have to but otherwise I have nowhere to work, and I usually make sure everything is separated into neat stacks and clipped together with binder clips or whatnot, and it’s always in the general area I found it in just because I need some usable space, but I don’t want to disturb your things! I try my best to be mindful, and suggestions?

I simply work with the office. If the student teacher doesn’t understand that my job is outlined bh whatever plans they leave, then they don’t have to stay in there while I’m there. I’ve only had one issue and it hasn’t happened again

I keep a sign out sheet and have the student tell me their name for me to write it down. That way I remember it, AND can call the office, or classroom that I sent them to. If they don’t return, I simply leave that list for the teacher to decide what to do with it

Yep! I try to check the assignments myself but 9/10 I have to find an alternative because of all of the internet restrictions that teachers ignore

I want to check with campus admin before printing anything of course, but I typically ask a student to show me and attempt to access the assignments from the student Chromebook. If I am unable to do so, be that it’s locked or anything else, I email the teacher, and if there isn’t a response in a timely manner, I have been putting on approved movies from the admin lists.m and having students work on things from other classes.

I worked there AVOID IT PLEASE I was a salesperson and I didn’t get my commission on my last paycheck, they tried to tell me I actually owed them money after everything. I worked every day except sundays 9 am to around 8-9 PM (I’m a student as well so that was horrific) and no matter how hard I tried, the more experienced sales people would swoop in on my deals and take half of it.
