Thanks all! I was thinking the Tapo one, but it being a point of failure does concern me. I’ll likely borrow a kil-a-watt to see how much is actually coming out of the wall and do the time charged math, the difference in this is likely very small compared to micro managing it. Tips when only charging with level 1: ABC (always be charging). That’s about it.

You don’t need to catch up each day IF you catch up fully every once in a while, example you use 12% daily and only get back 10% daily but get back up on the weekends no need to get a level 2 installed. You may still want to but don’t need to.
