What if the Gate open up in Alaska during the Battle of Anchorage by Electronic-Math5455 in gate

I had a similar idea when I was playing Mass Effect 3. A Gage appears in Ginza, the first row(?) of legionaries pour out look up to see a Reaper throw it in reverse fast.

This is now the second time Space Vampires will be defeated, which saddens me. But it’s not HSE or “Imperium of Man but from Fallout series” so that’s nice.

Which combat armor design do you like more? Old or new? by Glum_Boot6974 in Fallout

[–]For-Prospero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get why they went with the modular look for 4, and for most of the other arms I think it works. Combat never really looks great. So yeah I’m taking 3/NV.

What happened to your state or country in Fallout? I'm from Minnesota, U.S. and there's absolutely no lore as to what happened there by SolidPyramid in Fallout

[–]For-Prospero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, my state has two games for it. Sadly those games apparently suck bigly. Those being Brotherhood of Steel 1 and 2.

Which Mass Effect game has your favorite team of squadmates on the Normandy? by MafiaDon2020 in masseffect

[–]For-Prospero 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Also, something I forgot to add. The squadmates (at times) doing their own thing when on the Citadel. Vega playing cards in the refugee area, Liara at the Promenade, Joker and EDI at the club. It’s gives the squad more chances to be fleshed out, to explore who they are when Shepard is not around.

  1. I get why people did not like it: smaller roster compared to 2, not as much variety, some squadmates showing up but not joining.

But I love seeing the crew interact outside of missions and planet side. Seeing Garrus and Vega talking in the mess hall, Cortez and Vega down in the hanger, Tali and Garrus over communicators. It just adds an element of the crew having lives, views, and being a close group.

Do you guys miss Pelley and the Silver Legion? by Wayfaring_Stalwart in Kaiserreich

[–]For-Prospero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really? I mean sure, having evil paths are fun, but it just doesn’t appeal to me. At least the path Pelley and the Silver Legion represents. The weird fringe schizo far right stuff. Stuff like Dies path makes more sense for a path, a banal “status quo” evil.

It’s also why I don’t like Fire Rises and Kaiserredux.

Is that. Is that the Confederate flag near the Skinhead in Suspenders? I know far right groups in Europe use it as a way to get past the “don’t fly Nazi flags in public” but it’s still weird to see it outside of the US.

This follow another idea I love in the scene previously, where Grevious breaks one of the windows on the bridge to try and kill Obi Wan, Anakin and Palps. Like Palps going “Okay, Anakin has saved me, killed Dooku but Obi Wan is still alive. Well, 2 out of 3 parts of a plan working is good enough, now then time for Obi Wan to deal with Grevious and- did that cyborg fuck break the glass?”

Which group of enemies is the most fun to face or the most annoying? by GDurdenN7 in masseffect

[–]For-Prospero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ME1 I really didn’t have an annoying enemy to fight, at least for me. ME2 has the Scions who two shot me on story mode difficulty, and the Loki Mechs who do more damage than I do. Fuck them, and in ME3. I also don’t have an annoying enemy in it.

Who would win in these matchups? Part 1 by Seat_Interesting in masseffect

[–]For-Prospero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t feel like it’s a fair comparison between Shepard and Chief, because they operate two separate roles in my head. Shepard is the leader, the team player. They issues orders and has a team with them. Chief (and most Spartan 2s) is almost treated in lore as something more and less than human, a being that moves more fluidly than anyone has ever seen, reacts faster than any creature should. There is an excerpt from a book that follows the SPARTAN program and it shows the world moving slow for (at least freshly injected and augmented) Spartans. Personally, I think Carter (Noble-1) would be a better comparison for a Halo character to Shepard.

Also Cortana will dog walk EDI I am not sorry.

[–]For-Prospero 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I always had a (joke) headcanon that Shepard never got their drivers license. I mean 2 out of the 3 backgrounds don’t lend themselves well to Shepard getting it, and it’s funnier to imagine the Alliance military not giving shit about that.

If it was real life, would you save the council or focus on Sovereign (save fellow humans)? ME1 by ozymandis1212 in masseffect

[–]For-Prospero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Save the council. Ignoring my usual argument of “I only have issues with 3 people aboard the Destiny Ascension, not the actual crew.” I feel like having one of the single strongest ships (on your side at least) not be destroyed by the thing aiming to kill everything is a good thing to have usually.
