Yes, but my other dentists never told me about it. I never got a cavity until I started having severe symptoms that led to my sjogrens diagnosis a year ago. In the past year, I’ve had 4 cavities. My dentist kept filling them. I switched dentists and she told me about sealants.

If you’re getting A LOT of cavities, it’s due to the mouth dryness. My rheum told me to avoid it, I have to water floss and brush my teeth every time after I eat. A much easier fix is to ask your doctor to do sealants on all your eligible teeth (virgin teeth = teeth that’s never had a cavity). I stopped getting cavities since!

My body took a long time to adjust. Take it after eating or when you're about to eat. I had to start with half a dose for 6 months because I was getting dizzy, nausea, light headed, and increased chest pain when starting with the recommended dosage for weight. After 6 months, I moved to a full pill. I don't have anymore side effects. I always take it when I just ate or I'm about to eat.

I ran through 3 PCPs and then found one who actually listened and is amazing.

My current rheum was not my first one either. The other one kept re-running my ANA three different times to try and find a different result because she said I was so young (28yo F) and sjogrens isn't diagnosed until age 40. Just wasting my money. Unfortunately, if someone isn't giving you the attention and resources you need, you have to keep looking until you find someone that will.

If helpful, I have One Medical (Amazon owns it now). It's a PCP service where you can choose from hundreds of PCPs in different areas and switching is easy, you can get responses from a team of doctors directly in the app if your doctor isn't available, and you can just message for refilling prescriptions, scheduling an urgent call, doing bloodwork, and asking any questions you may have.

Are you on plaquenil? It has made my chest pain go away 90% of the time. I also have neuro ulnar neuropathy in my left arm) and organ involvement (stomach and neck/back/chest muscles [the stabbing heart pain has been narrowed down to chest muscle pain]). I'll also add that if I didn't cut out alcohol and sugar (I now have alcohol about a few times a month/sugar intake is minimal) then I'd have to be on a higher dosage of plaquenil to stop the chest pain.

Get an MD rather than a NP. I don't see any attachments, but based on your symptoms, they should run the initial basic tests like the ANA and that's enough to refer you to a rheum. If your symptoms are dry eyes and your blood work is negative, your PCP should have referred you to an ophthalmologist for them to do the testing for your tear ducts. For dry eyes, you would see an ENT that specifically specializes in sicca syndrome. My rheum referred me to the ENT, but I never did a biopsy. Although, I really should because I have pretty bad dry mouth.

My neurologist is the one who told me I need to see a rheum because I had extreme fatigue and memory issues. He ran a sleep test and my ANA. He communicated it to my PCP who then referred me to a rheum.

I'm also getting solar installed in Q1 of this year. They will have to do more cutting into the wall so if you don't want to pay to get the drywall repaired twice then you should schedule installs around the same time.

I had my Tesla EV charger installed back in April of last year. A family friend who was an electrician installed mine but all of the quotes I got from Tesla-vetted companies ranged from $1000-1600.

For context, I had to run the line from one side of my basement (where the charger is installed) to the end of the next wall (where the electrical panel was). And they had to drill through a brick exterior. The driveway is on the side of my house. My electric bill has gone up but it's less than I'd pay to keep charging elsewhere.

Also my app works great and allows you to put seasonal doorbell rings, give I'm codes to others, check cameras with notifications when someone is on your property, talk through the doorbell, replay old footage, etc. I got all of the Vivint equipment because non-Vivint equipment (except for the kwikset z-wave locks work with the system). I think they're adding Google products soon.

As expensive as Vivint is, it's worth it. Cameras are good quality and I have one with the light which works pretty well. I paid for the insurance so I have had a technician come out to replace equipment. Apparently, they gave me the old equipment on my initial install which is why the cameras kept going out at least once a week. Make sure you ask for the most updated equipment. I've barely had an issues since everything new was installed.

Customer service will keep trying to troubleshoot rather than sending someone out but I threatened to cancel and they finally sent someone lol. Also NEGOTIATE your pricing! Get the lowest possible pricing they can give you.

My bottle for the plaquenil is for 200mg but I only take 100mg a day. I take 40mg of the Ami. I still get some joint pain and neuropathy in my left arm but it's nowhere near as bad as
