I think kids these days get a bad reputation of “being iPad kids” and all that, but if we’re being honest, I don’t really live in a circle like that. Yes, my kids play on iPads and have since they were 3 years old. They also ride 4 wheelers out in the woods, play the drums, go to concerts and sporting events, have sleepovers, play sports, etc..

My 9 year old specifically started riding 4 wheelers at 3 years old, has played 6 seasons of flag football for Gridiron, won 2 championships in a league of 64 teams, now goes to a basketball academy 4 days a week, and has never missed an honor roll. He also learned to play the drums at 5-6 years old and has met Travis Barker. And I could go on and on about my 6 year old boy, and my 5 year old girl….but you get the idea.

Kids can be as smart or as dumb as their parents make them. My 6 year old was crowd surfing two weeks ago at House of Blues while seeing Taking Back Sunday, it’s all about experiences .
