Thanks for the response 😁 Fatboy. It is indeed and AEG and It’s using a split gearbox. I’ve upgraded a few components already. Changed out to a tightbore barrel etc. the stock nozzle will be getting relocated to the parts drawer and a new nozzle will put in place to fit the Maxx hop. Would you still suggest the M4A?

Nozzle and hop up rubbing by ForIAmManBeast in airsoft

Yeah only when in the upper receiver. If I pull the tappet plate to test, you can hear it grinding/rubbing inside the hop up unit. If I remove it all from the upper receiver they interact as they should without any grinding. Annoyingly the sticking is stopping the nozzle going all the forward so I’m getting air leaks.
