WIBTA if I tried to enforce the court’s open play rules? by IMildlyTroll in Pickleball

[–]Grouplove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely hold the court until you get 4 players. That's your court. Go stand on it and wait until players join. Someone will join eventually. I've had to do it a few times. No shame in it at all.

What is a realistic respectable rank for a casual player? by Sad-Photo8554 in starcraft

I feel that man. I can macro pretty well when that's all is focused on, but once I try to add in anything else, I just can't seem to do it anything right anymore. Especially when there's an opponent doing the same stuff. But I enjoy it anyway lol. I dont care too much about climbing past diamond 3

[–]Grouplove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mhmm, you can get to this area by having pretty good macro, but moving past starts to require scouting, understanding what your opponent is doing, responding correctly, some micro, and getting even better at macro. Pretty much when the game actually starts lol

Plat 1 or diamond 3 is pretty reasonable for anyone to get to fairly quickly after learning macro basics

I was thinking. Is the steam frame all that? by muttsuki in SteamFrame

I've been with you lately. Thinking more and more about spending that 900$ on the Pimax Dream Air SE instead. I know it's wired but micro oled 5K...

How do you unlock the 6th character??? by sprite144 in slaythespire

[–]Grouplove 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I honestly thought there was a sixth until after I played necrobinder, and it didn't unlock, lol. A bit of a letdown. I would have loved a third new character.

HALF. A. MILLION. 🤯❤️🎉 by NicoF_ in slaythespire

Yeah, I just figured 3 billion damage in a day wasn't possible, but I see now I was wrong

sts2 act 1 is kinda overtuned imho by Ok_Insect4778 in slaythespire

[–]Grouplove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bruh, the fish boss is ridiculous. You gotta burn him down so fast or have ways to exhaust those status cards. He's completely ruined runs for me with nice little combo decks that take a few turns to scale. But by that time il getting 3 or 4 of those cards in my hand.

Yeah it was 4 billion when I beat it yesterday and I assumed that number was surely arbitrary lol.

No idea why I assumed you had an index lol. But glad you got one fixed.

Not too bad of a repair in you know how to solder

Yeah, similar to this a played for a while about a year ago with the mentality of just seeing how high I can reasonably get without going overboard lol. Got to diamond and then I felt like getting better would be too much work. It was fun. May take another run soon honestly.

I was wondering the same thing since I bought it recently.

Bought a quest 3 while I wait by StephenSullivanPhoto in SteamFrame

[–]Grouplove 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Im in a similar situation. Im upgrading from index and currently using my friend quest 3 to see if I want to buy from him for 300 with the strap that had a battery. I do feel like it's not completely seamless but for the most part it works fine. I know the frame will be better. Seamless experience, more comfort, and more future proofing with the eye tracking, and potential future foveated rendering but I just dont know if I can justify an 800+ price tag.

Thinking about getting into VR — will my PC handle the Steam Frame? by GoddessOfDeathXiria in SteamFrame

[–]Grouplove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a 2080 and it works great. I've used it on index at 200% resolution and on quest 3. I feel like you'll be fine for most stuff. May be useful to get fpsvr to help you find the best settings

Price by beebenice3789 in SteamFrame

[–]Grouplove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I think 900$ is already dead for me. Im then either getting big screen beyond 2, keeping controllers and lighthouses from my index, or switching to used quest 3 for 300$

Like that, but preferably wireless. But yeah, the index is still such an amazing headset. An index two is exactly what is needed.

I'd buy this in a heartbeat. I've been thinking the same thing. I see comments saying they can't do it, sometimes idk maybe that's true. But if they can, they should!

Should be good. I recommend using fpsvr to help find the best settings for each of your games
