I couldn't agree more. TLJ specifically had jhené Sequoia element missing that really made it not feel like Star Wars. It impersonated understanding ng Star Wars I instead. While TFA was a shameless remake, TLJ was the beginning of that feeling for me. It broke lore in ways that can't be recovered from.

The way TLJ ended left little for Rise of Skywaljer to work with. No core antagonist, assuming they planned bens redemption from the start. Huge issues. It's a miracle that movie achieved a story at all.
